PRINCIPAL SECOND VIOLIN, BOISE PHILHARMONIC

2012 - Present

The position that keeps me busiest throughout the season.  The Boise Phil is the premiere symphonic ensemble in Idaho.  Principal second violin is a key leadership role, and requires being a liaison between the melodic first violins and the lower voices in the strings.  As part of this position, I regularly work with students from the Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and perform with the Boise Philharmonic String Quartet.

ASSOCIATE CONCERTMASTER, BOISE BAROQUE ORCHESTRA

2018 - Present

Serving in an acting capacity in this role from 2018 to 2022, I officially won this position in August 2022.  Boise Baroque is in the middle of a transition to being a historically informed performance ensemble, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it!  This position allows me to work closely with visiting world class Baroque soloists, such as Julie Andrijeski, Monica Hugget, and Phoebe Carrai.

PRIVATE VIOLIN INSTRUCTOR

I have been teaching privately since Fall 2012.  Schedule a trial lesson with me today to see why I am continually recommended as one of Boise's leading classical music instructors.

2012 - Present

MAESTRO DE MÚSICA, GARABATOS SPANISH PRESCHOOL

At Garabatos Spanish Preschool, I work with kids ages 3-5 in English and Spanish to develop basic music skills.  I love laying a foundation for lifelong music-making in the kids at Garabatos!

2015 - Present

ASSOCIATE CONCERTMASTER MCCALL SUMMERFEST ORCHESTRA

My favorite summer working vacation.  The SummerFest Orchestra meets each July in beautiful McCall, ID to put on classics, pops, and family concerts for the local community and visiting vacationers.

2016 - Present

FOUNDING MEMBER AND VIOLINIST, 208 ENSEMBLE

208 ensemble is Boise's only ensemble dedicated to the performance of new works by 21st century composers.  I have had the privilege of playing with this ensemble since its founding.

2014 - Present

B.A. IN VIOLIN PERFORMANCE, THE COLLEGE OF IDAHO

2012

At the College of Idaho, I studied violin with former Boise Philharmonic concertmaster Geoffrey Trabichoff, and studied chamber music and orchestral repertoire with Langroise fellows David Johnson and Samuel Smith.  This was an invaluable education which has paved the way for all my professional endeavors and achievements.
