A DRIVEN PERFORMER AND EDUCATOR
Since 2012, Geoffrey has been a core member of Boise's orchestra and chamber music scene. He is Principal Second Violin of the Boise Philharmonic, associate concertmaster of the Boise Baroque Orchestra, a regular member of the Opera Idaho orchestra, a founding member of 208 ensemble, and is a first-call player for traveling productions that pass through Boise.
Central to his identity as a musician, Geoffrey maintains a private teaching studio in the heart of downtown Boise. His students range from the youngest beginners to talented, driven teenagers, to adults looking to connect (or reconnect!) with the the violin for the first time. In addition to giving regular recitals throughout the year, his students are leaders in their school orchestras and the Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.

Geoffrey studied with former Boise Philharmonic concertmaster Geoffrey Trabichoff at the College of Idaho, where he also received a degree in history.

His primary violin is a Michele Buccelle from Cremona, Italy. His concert bow is a Hermann Prell, ca. 1900. For Baroque performance, he uses a Domenic Fasso violin and a Philip Stanley Baroque bow.
